Delivery Charges - UK Mainland

Orders will be delivered using our standard delivery scheme which will see your goods arrive within 1-5 days of dispatch. Orders placed before 12:30 on weekdays are usually dispatched same day; orders after this time are usually dispatched next working day. If there are items in the order that are not currently in stock, the order will be delivered when all items are available for delivery.

All delivery services are based on working days and therefore do not include weekends and bank holidays. We can provide a Timed and Saturday service, please contact us for prices.

Delivery Charges - Non-UK Mainland

This area includes; Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Scilly, Channel Islands, Scottish Isles, Orkney Isles and the Shetland Isles. Standard delivery rates do not apply in these areas.

Most small orders can still be dispatched to these areas at the standard rates through Royal Mail. Larger orders, including any order containing extinguishers cannot be sent at the standard delivery rates. We regret we cannot ship Fire Extinguishers to destinations outside the UK Mainland.

Delivery prices to these areas will be provided on an individual basis and at cost price to the customer. Customers in these areas can either contact us for a delivery quote (please specify the item and quantities wished to be purchased) or just place the order as normal and we will contact the customer if any additional delivery charges apply to the order.

Shortages

It is our policy to contact you if a product ordered is out-of-stock to explain the situation and provide an estimated dispatch date. Most out-of-stock items can still be dispatched from our store within a week of placing an order. If you do not wish to proceed with any order containing shortages, we will arrange for it to be cancelled.

Returns and Refunds Policy

All returns have to be requested and you must clearly mark the RAN number issued on the packaging. Returns should be notified to us at sales@sdfirealarms.co.uk within 7 days. Our returns policy means that if the product specification did not match the product you received or you received damaged or faulty goods, you can return it to us in its original condition within 7 working days commencing the day after you received the item and we will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item including postage. The safe return of items wrongly ordered or not wanted, is at your own cost. We can only accept the return of used items if they are found to be faulty.

Distance Selling Regulations

If you have ordered by telephone or internet, under the Distance Selling Regulations, you have a statutory right to cancel your order and receive a full refund for any home delivery item (excluding those ordered in-store). This does not apply to items personalised or made to your specification; audio/video recordings or software that you have unsealed; items that cannot be returned due to their nature; perishable goods (e.g. food, flowers and periodicals/magazines).

To cancel, you can email us at sales@sdfirealarms.co.uk, call 01803 697682 or write to us at Customer Services (see the footer for our address) within seven working days (so not including Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays) commencing the day after the day of delivery of your item(s), quoting your order number. You must take reasonable care of the item(s).
