Holmes (software included with wattson)

While wattson has the looks, holmes has the brains. Together, they tell you how much electricity you’ve used over the last 28 days, and how much you’ve saved and when. You’ll then be able to send this data to a community, so you and others can share and compare how well you’re doing and swap ideas on how to make even more savings.

Holmes is as straightforward to use as wattson. When set up correctly, holmes talks to wattson whenever the unit is plugged into a spare USB port on your computer. The monitoring unit tells holmes about the amount of energy you’ve used since it was last connected, and stores all this information on your computer.

Holmes also lets you set a target for electricity use reduction, so you have something positive to work towards.
