Domestic Smoke Alarms
Our Domestic Smoke Alarms include both Ionisation and Optical (photoelectric) smoke alarms and both are available in either battery or mains powered. Our range of smoke alarms can be interlinked by wire or by RadioLink. Our smoke alarms include detectors from BRK, Dicon, First Alert and Aico.
Our Commercial Smoke Alarms are suited for most commercial fire alarm systems. Our commercial smoke alarms include Rafiki, Hochiki and Nittan. These commercial smoke alarms are available in either Ionisation or Optical. The Rafiki Smoke Alarms incorporate their multipoint technology and is a combined sounder, heat and smoke alarm in one device.

The Difference between Ionisation and Optical Smoke Alarms
Ionisation Smoke Alarms
Ionisation Smoke Alarms are better suited for detecting fast flaming fires. These smoke alarms are better suited for rooms where there is a high risk of a fire. Ionisation smoke alarms are more prone to false alarms due to their sensitivity. So these smoke alarms are best suited in bedrooms and living rooms
Optical Smoke Alarms
Optical Smoke Alarms are better at detecting smouldering fires and are ideally located in hallways and landings. These Smoke Alarm are less prone to false alarms because of their method of detection and these smoke alarms can be located near kitchens.
Smoke Alarm bases and Extras
We have a wide range of bases and extras that function with our range of commercial and domestic smoke alarms. We have a range of Relay and non-relay bases for our range of smoke alarms. The relay bases allow for smoke alarms to trigger other devices i.e. door retainers on activation.
Our other smoke alarm extras include, commercial devices such auxiliary relays and test smoke and domestic smoke alarm devices which include control switches and radiolink bases.
