Key & Turn Oval Cylinders

As the name suggests, Oval Key and Turn Cylinders, sometimes known as Thumbturn Cylinders, as those that have an Oval profile, and are operated by a key on one side and a thumbturn or snib on the other. These types of cylinder allow you to lock the door from one side, using the key, whilst giving you easy release of the lock from the other side using the turn (which can also be used to lock the door from the inside). Cylinder locks of this type are ideal for use in environments such as meeting rooms and GP surgeries, where privacy may well be required at times, but without the need multiple staff to be carrying keys around.
